SKB is a real estate investor, operator, and developer specializing in Modern Manufacturing/R&D and Suburban Mixed-Use properties across the West. Its business runs on trust: capital from institutions, family offices, and private individuals, committed to deals that play out over years. SKB needed a secure, on-brand home for those relationships, a place where approved investors could reach opportunities, documents, and reporting without being handed off to generic, off-the-shelf software.
We built them a custom investor portal inside WordPress. Approved investors signed in to a gated experience that looked and felt like the rest of SKB, browsed current opportunities, and accessed the materials and reporting tied to their commitments. Keeping the portal native to WordPress meant SKB’s team could manage investors and content themselves, without a disconnected third-party system to wrangle.
The result was a portal that treated investors the way SKB treats its partners: with care, discretion, and a sense of craft. It gave a relationship-driven firm a digital front door for capital that felt as considered and personal as the partnerships behind it.
